2001 Hess Helicopter With Motorcycle Cruiser Toy Battery Operated Lights Sounds Working Rotors Box
2001 Hess Helicopter, Motorcycle & Cruiser Toy with Lights, Sounds, Working Rotors
- New, old stock, never played with, in excellent cosmetic condition. Includes original box with foam & cardboard inserts. Box has some wear and damage
- Requires two "C", one "AAA", and two "A76" button batteries (no batteries included). The motorcycle & cruiser came with batteries installed from the factory. The motorcycle batteries were removed as a very small amount of leakage was found. Battery compartment was cleaned and lights work properly. The cruiser battery was found to have considerable leakage. The battery was removed but the metal connector that touches the negative end of the battery was corroded badly enough that it broke off. The broken off piece was crimped into a "U" shape and forced between the negative end of the battery and the remaining metal connector piece. Doing this allows the lights to operate properly. This would need to be repeated any time the battery is changed. The broken off "U" shaped metal piece is in a zip lock bag inside the box. All functions of the helicopter were tested and work properly.
NOTE: Any of these toys being advertised as "Brand New" and / or "Never Removed From Box"........it's highly likely that the batteries have leaked after 20+ years.
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Small parts. Not for children under 3 years of age.
